Though it might seem impossible, summer is definitely on the horizon, and we have proof: festival line-ups have been released! Read on for info about this year’s Coachella, Bonaroo, Pitchfork and Lollapalooza music festivals.

Coachella
The Details: California, April 12, 13 and 14 and April 19, 20 and 21

The full line-up for this year’s California festival has been released, and alongside headliners Blur, The Stones Roses, Phoenix and Red Hot Chili Peppers are the likes of Passion Pit, The xx, Sigur Ros, Wu-Tang Clan and Vampire Weekend.

Bonaroo
The Details: Tennessee, June 13, 14, 15 and 16

Paul McCartney, Mumford and SonsMacklemore & Ryan Lewis, The Tallest Man On EarthOf Monsters and Men, Edward Sharpe & the Magnetic Zeroes…it could only be Bonaroo! Clearly really feeling the indie vibes this year, the festival will be hitting Manchester, Tennessee in June.

Pitchfork
The Details: Chicago, July 19, 20 and 21

Bjork, Belle & Sebastian and R-Kelly will be this year’s headliners at the Chicago-based festival this July. More acts will be announced soon, but with three such mixed artists, it looks like we’re in for a varied show. One of the cheapest festivals out there, a three-day festival pass will set you back just $120, or single day tickets are available for $50. With prices like that we can almost forgive them for taking the award for “most random mix of headliners” and ”most bizarre choice of headliner for R-Kelly.” Almost.

Lollapalooza
The Details: Chicago, August 2, 3 and 4

We’re still hanging on for the official announcement for Chicago’s other big annual festival, but a rumour leaked line-up features the likes of The Cure, Jay-Z and Mumford and Sons. It may well be another hoax in a very long list of similar ones, but Chicago Magazine have noted that none of the acts mentioned have scheduled live performances over the dates the festival will fall. Hoax or no hoax, after they had acts like Florence and The Machine and The Black Keys, we’re pretty sure we won’t be left disappointed.
